I have heard about the Witcher before, but not any details about what type of game it is and why it is good

Many thought it was a better game than the first Mass Effect. In others words thought it was the best RPG from that year. It is not as polished as Mass Effect, but has awesome game-play and a very good story. It however takes place in a medieval fantasy world. So you have to like that setting. the enhanced edition is only 16 Euro though. I would definitely recommend it .

I'm not 100% on medieval fantasy, I do like sci-fi, so I will probably leave it for a while, as I already have about 10 PC games to play, firstly Kotor, but I am sure I will pick it up at some point
