Well, if you want to learn, the best thing you can do is start with Nightmare Troubadour, it's still pretty heavy on the basics of YGO.
If you want to keep up with the current YGO trends though, the 5D's games are the ones to go to. The difficulty curve is pretty steep though, and you'll have to spend a lot of time in the start of the game dueling against story characters to have enough cards and skill to progress further in the game.
