x360 slim enjoys us-sales spike but will it last

Xbox 360 will outsell the PS3 for this year. That was my prediction in December 2009. And I am confident that this will be the case.

Xbox 360s has shortages all over the US.

Amazon.com says they will get it in 4 days.
BestBuy: Store pickup not available, backordered within 1-2 weeks
Target: Arriving soon! Order now for shipment in 2 to 4 weeks
gamestop: currently not available online / Limit 1 per household

So meeting demand is the first step. The Europe Launch is about to happen in 2 weeks. The Slim Aracde releases this fall in US and probably worldwide. Then there are games like Fable III, Halo Reach and Black Ops. And Kinect will sell hardware as well.

So all MS has to do is produce more 360s to meet demand.
