You're kidding me, right?  The 360 during that time following the price cut extended the lead from ~5.5 million to ~8 million.  That seems to be a bit more than 300k to me...

Yeah he's just talking rubbish, we should have guessed this with this comment

His predictions only, and will ever only be PS3 doing well. He can't look at the market with logic and a level head.

theres no rubbish there go look it up jan till slim release in 09 its about 300k then look up jan-sep 08 and then jan till 360 slim launch 2010 and then tell me who has long term price cut effect

i never said anywhere in the thread 360 wont get a price cut i only say PS3 will take the holidays somebody said 360S arcade will come out at 199$ i think even MS confirmed it they even said it will take the current arcades 199$ price

im responding to the facts only 360S getin a price cut this year is not a fact as is ps3 gettin a price cut its possible ps3 can go to 249$

and even if 360S arcade goes to 149$ and ps3 stays at 299 ps3 has shown that it can outsell 360 at a  price difference of 130$ WW so an extra 20$ wont be a big deal considering PS3's most anticipated game gt5  is coming out this holiday

look whos talking wasnt it you who just posted only these words "by 2k" last year when ps3 hit a mill WW?  couldnt you look at the market with logic and accept industry growth?

Most people got that comment by me, it was in reference to it only being 2k, meaning adjustments were likely and it'd drop below, and guess what, they were, and people celebrated too early for nothing. Case closed.

The PS3 had a price drop and a redesign last xmas, that's why it sold so well. The Arcade was $199 for over a year ... of course it was never going to beat a price drop on the PS3.

If you think it's as black and white as the cheapest console should always be winning then .... there is no point debating with you.
