Again: RE5 sold just as much as RE4 and is much more recent, ergo it's more likely to have been played by the current generation of gamers.

But it does not feature Claire at all and Jill barely makes an appearance (and looks very different).  If Sheva was an option I bet she'd be first or second.

I seriously doubt it. While I like Sheva's character, RE5's putrid partner AI will certainly hinder Sheva's popularity.
