i got an invite but it says it needs a credit card #...i have one but im not liking the idea of giving my credit card # to something i hardely know...

the games I want, I already have them on Steam lol, I don't even know if that option is there. this would be a good way to play games for 30 minutes to see if I'm interested, obviously going to stop the service a year from now since I'm not going to spend 5 bucks a month to play demos.

apparently you do get a free full game pass so that's pretty cool (after checking a bunch of other sites)...

so what is your opinion of Onlive so far?

there is a tiny latency, video quality blows, it even gets blocky sometimes on high motion or sudden change in picture, opened up batman aa and did a circle thing on the camera to see the ceiling and behold, artifacts. and this is on a 400-700KB downstream at 720p with what looks like older divx quality. not good in the eyes of a PC gamer, and I say you can easily get better quality on consoles than OnLive since I don't even see AA.
