The Commodore64 had tons of games on it, computers in general had. So don't tell us that if it wasn't for Miyamoto there wouldn't be videogames because that's not true. |
Commodore64 failed though, it doesn't matter if it came first, it wouldn't have carried on gaming. All of the game systems and developers before Miyamoto failed. If it wasn't for him and Nintendo, the third generation would have never taken off and would have just been the final deathblow to gaming. |
The Commodore 64 never failed, Commodore the company ran into problems later on... PC games would still be here regardless of if Miyamoto ever was around or not. |
The company and its games went under, it failed. PC gaming would have never lead to what we have today either without Miyamoto. Also, Halo's success isn't as a PC game, its as a console game. Even if you could make the argument Halo could someone manage to exist without Miyamoto it would have been little more than a unknown game outside of certain circles like the Marathon series.
