I'm lost after Chrono's "death"

That's the sequence of events that leads to the Black Omen rising right? You have to go back to Gaspar and he'll give you an item. Afterwards, go to 2300 A.D and talk to Belthasar, and he'll point you to Death Peak.
Before that, you'll have to win a Chrono Doll from the Millenial Fair in 1000 AD. To do this, visit the tent of horrors and have with you at least 40 silver points, to play a game that will allow you to win this doll.
Once you have both Gaspar's item and the Chrono Doll, you're all set to climb Death Peak and continue with the story.
