No, you misunderstood me.  I just don't think any 2 games could stand up to a series as awesome as Mario or Zelda or FInal Fantasy.  Although StarCraft and Diablo II (different series obviously) would be at least in the same ballpark. 

I don't really think I did. On a basis of How much better,  I like Deus Ex 1 over any other say mario, zelda game by a whole lot. And I like Deus Ex 2 better than Every Mario and Zelda but 1.

I will create a bad hypothetical. If I Had to choose To get my mind wiped of the many great mario games I can think of a lot, or the 1 sublime and 1 great deus ex games. I would get rid of my mario memories.
Thus is why I chose.

That is completely incorrect as to what I was talking about.  Two games can be a franchise (e.g. Crono Trigger/Cross) but I disagree that any two games put together can be better than all Mario games put together.
