Oh, I agree. Johnny Lee is awesome and needs to be snapped up by Nintendo for some Proof of Concept game (*crossesfingers*) like Kid Icarus (*uncrosses fingers*). It is just interesting to think of ways to apply the technique to other hardware people may have, like the PS Eye. I am not sure it would work as well as the Wiimote setup, but it could probably be done.

Also, half on-topic and half off-topic:
I really can't wait to see what Lee comes up with next for these little Wiimotes. Something not very practical that I thought of would be putting 4 (each slightly different) sensor bars in the 4 horizontal axes of the room (obviously, the other axis is provided by gravity); I am pretty sure that with a setup like that, you could have true 1:1 sword fighting; it just registers the movement you make and estimate a movement, and then reorients itself based on the IR sources visible. I am kind of worried about the spread of the Wiimote's camera; there will probably be angles where none of the sensor bars are visible, and there are some other problems i can think of. But I think that its probably possible, and playing a new Ninja Gaiden-esque game like that would be awesome - that would also fit in with Ninja Gaiden's whole thing about being a difficult game: Imagine if you *actually* had to block with your sword, or something!

Anyways, what other (practical-ish) ideas have any of you thought up?
