I agree to an expent, its like they've been playing a zero sum game for the last few years. but imo this trend will end during next year. because the PS3 has at least 6 - 8 years left, where as i see the 360 as less than half that time on the market.
well i suppose we'll find out this Fall what it is that the consumer wants...
