BT has a download limit (in it's fair use policy). I believe it's ~20GB per month.

Then you get capped. Obviously it's the same for other ISP's. They say 'Unlimited' but it can be as little as 2GB to 20GB per month, then you get capped to 64Kb/sec and charged extra for being over limit as stated in 'fair use policy'.

No. I don't hit the cap very often; I'm talking normal use. I'm paying for an 8MB connection, I live near the exchange and I get 256KB/s uncapped.

I get ~128KB/s on my 1mb line.

And Tesco ISP is TRUE unlimited

But could you imagine trying to download a HD DVD or Blue Ray Movie/Game on that line?

Good to see this site is still going
