Its time to admit it. PS3 will NEVER overtake 360.

if that was the Case they would have stopped support on the PS1 after the PS2 or the PS2 after the PS3..

when the PS4 releases the fact that the PS3 has over 35 million PS3's in the market ,Mean's Sony will stop the support on the PS3 when even when the New PS4 get's released?

I was joking actually, because nobody knows what will happen after a new gen starts like he stated. He assumed things without any kind of source. So did I.

the point is until like you said we do not know what their going to do, but if anything is to go by Sony has shown very much to support their previous generation system's even when their new system drop's.

the PS3 does so much already as is. the REQUIREMENT'S for game's for the PS4 esp. when were talking about the PSN most likely would not matter because that same game most likely would work on the PS3 also! Like many PSN mini's work both on the PSP and the PS3. I see the same thing happening with the PS3/PS4 ESP. in PSN game's.

On the other hand, the XBLA games / indygames will probably work on the Xbox 3 as well. Xbox 360 is backward compatible for the most games and they had the Xbox Live servers running for years before they turned them off.

I know Sony has a history of  supporting the older consoles, but I don't see why MS can't do the same. Nvidia was the main problem for the original Xbox, so they HAD to stop producing it. This is different this gen.

As I said before, we don't know so it is pointless to say A or B will happen.
