Naruto is mainstream, among kids. Bleach is in no way mainstream. You see it on Adult Swim, not mainstream channels.
You can take a 'blame the customer' approach if you like, but it wouldn't be a wise approach for someone making a consumer product. Furthermore, it's rarely just one or two scenes that are corny and turn people off. If you can see it early on it's pretty likely to be pervasive in the game.
