Well if you look at the today released EMEAA sales than I don't see to much interest in the new 360 here in Europe. Most of my friend still don't even know that it exist. So Europe won't give 2 shits about the 360 slim.
Kinect is btw priced at most shops for 150 euro which is converted about... 150 dollars :D. I'm also having the feeling that retailers don't trust it to much because I don't see any advertising. The Ps3 Slim hype rages on here and every month at least 4 more people I know buy a Ps3. So MS is really losing ground here.
