| Mummelmann said: Because Apple have built such great TV's and Stereo systems lately? Its rather that the market has changed and leaned heavily towards multitasking products such as smartphones and companies like Sony have fallen behind in those segments. Also, Apple are really good at convincing people that; A: Their products are absolutely essential to own and you have a great need for them , and; B: They're not expensive, its the most advanced product after all! Personally, I have fallen behind the market myself and I don't see the need for a multitasking phone or apparatus just yet. I have a digital camera, I have a good PC, I have a TV and gaming consoles so I don't need all that on a phone that does everything half-assed. Jack of all trades and master of none indeed. The most shocking part of the Apple pie, though, is how they can get away with not only the ludicrous prices but also the shitty customer service and extremely closed business models striving to create a monopoly. |
Apple was rated highest for computer tech support.

Sony and MS have been just as guilty for creating closed standards. I remember when Sony forced atrac and wouldn't allow MP3 on their devices, which turned out to be a huge blunder.
Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.
