The reason to buy yearly editions of "traditional" sports games is to get the new teams, rosters and stats (e.g. Madden). But casual players aren't interested in the professional sport of golf but instead in the enjoyment it provides as a family game. So they don't need updated versions for that. |
as much as i can see why people always scoff at MARIO Sports games throughout the ages for milking mario, this is the main reason I love them.
1 mario tennis, soccer, baseball, golf or whatever Especially GOLF. Love mario golf. But anyway, 1 mario golf gets me through the entire generation for golf games. I don't need to buy any new golf every year, mario golf lasts until next generation when new golf game comes out.
