I'm South Korean so I can provide you with that :D!
There isn't a specific place where I can get exact Korean Preorder numbers for Starcraft II but there was an article about the preorders and when I checked that article (near the end of June), there are approximately 70,000 preorders in South Korea alone. Now for a small country like South Korea that's a lot for preorders. Most of them preordered for the beta but analysts stronly believe that in the first week or even in the first few days Starcraft II will sell over 100,000, which is once again, big numbers.
Plus it's getting massive marketing. Like have you seen the Korean Air plane with Starcraft II on it?
And just a few days ago, they annoucned this:
Yeah that's all real and you know how serious Starcraft really is in Korea :D!!!
