I'm not sure you people realize that the OP is counting Mario Kart as part of the Super Mario franchise (i.e. not an independent series). Hell, with that to go by, for all we know the Mario Sports games are too (Mario Tennis, Strikers, etc. etc.).
The alliance of Super Mario and Mario Kart is simply overpowering and unfair to other franchises, like comparing Crissaegrim to the Vorpal Blade in Castlevania SOTN. But that is how it is being counted so vote accordingly.
1. Super Mario plus 3 (with extreme prejudice)
2. Final Fantasy plus 2 (Including Tactics and Crystal Chronicles etc.)
3. The Legend of Zelda plus 1
