I think that the New Super Mario Bros. Wii is a fantastic game with addicting gameplay. It reminded me a lot of Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World, and it is the first game to come out in a long time that I wanted to keep playing over and over again. I don't understand why some people hate on this game for being so successful though.
Hopefully, Nintendo will not wait so long to make more 2D Mario games, and I certainly think they should make one to launch with the 3DS.
