Dragon Quest - more the series than the game, when I think of the word "RPG" nothing else comes to mind first.
Also - Even though proto-RPGs/Adventures like Ultima and Wizardry existed, Dragon Quest was the series that defined the genre as we know it today - the grandfather of them all.
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
