I think this is a lot of worry for nothing.  "Getting the job done quickly" does not instantly translate to "rush the thing out all half-assed so the next project can get underway."

Miyamoto is not the guy known for rushing games.  He's the guy known for scrapping games that have already been in development for a while, or delaying them for up to two years until "perfection" sets in.  His delay of Mario 64 created a delay for the N64.
