because they know people will still buy those games even if they're very short. and yet they bash the used games market... personally i keep only games with good multiplayer modes and/or those gems i know i'll replay even 10 years from now. except from those i resell all of my games, paying 50€ for a game that's only 6-8 hours long is a rip-off. and let's not talk about madworld... that game lasted only 4 hours.
