I been saying for a while now Zelda needs to be changed drasticly, in some way.
The old Zelda fans will rage and piss and moan but who cares, these are the same fans bitching about the recent Zeldas anyways.
If they make the same Zelda over and over its stale and if they change it then its no longer Zelda and people rage.
I say change it up. I want a Zelda II type change and to hell with the fanboys.

out of curiosity, what kind of "drastic change" do you recomend for this series?
OT: it figures doesnt it? its a zelda game. of course they were gonna try to find virtually every reason to not like the game. graphics were just their main choice. of course i have heard that same complaint *cough*wind waker*cough* so -1 for unoriginality.
amazing motion controls, cool art style, and new and interesting items that more than make up for anything that might have been disappointing IMO. i was only dissapointed in the onstage demo.

I don't have an answer for that. I'm not a game designer. Most of the time I don't know what I like till I play it lol.
But I'll tell you this. Doing the same thing over and over is getting old to me. I have played Zelda 1 like 5 times now. Change it up or let it die.

isnt it jumping the gun a bit to be calling this game "the same thing"? have you played it yet? from what i hear, the controls are all completely new i.e. 1:1 motion. as well, what was seen at E3 was a demo built specifically for E3 so it really isnt any of the game besides controls and artstlye. saying this game is going to be the same as the past few games is no more than a guess.
now dont get me wrong, id love to see nintendo shake the series up a bit in terms of how the game plays out. however, im not looking for anything so drastic that its hard to recognize the core elements of the zelda game, a mideval fantasy, dungeon crawling, adventure.
