HALO is a bit slow, should take off in august

GRAN TURISMO,MEDAL OF HONOUR,COD doing well

Not sure how you come to that conclusion...

Because Reach is tracking at almost identical rate as MW2 which as we all know is now the top selling 360 game.

And GT5 is tracking way below the top games this gen including Reach. GT5 is now at the 17th week mark. In it's 17th week Reach had 35k pre-orders. Meaning Reach was nearly x4 what GT5 got for their 17th weeks.

So i guess really it depends on what your definition of doing well is. On this forum we are lead to believe GT5 will beat Halo in sales, or at least be one of the bigger selling games this gen. Right now Reach has a 4:1 ratio over GT5.

GT5 is doing good for USA.you forgot these charts are good for USA and also that GT5 launch date only got known by people just 2 weeks ago.

and just because MW2 became the best selling 360 game doesn't mean HALO reach will as MW2 didn't have other big games coming near its time.

Reach is not tracking on an identical rate like MW2 we don't know if it will follow at the same rate MW2 did

GT5 didn't had its release date so don't compare its 35k pre-orders thingy

and i didn't set any definition.you are jumping to conclusions.right now REACH has 4:1 preorders now? - how do you mean by it as it is release earlier tooo

Firstly Halo Reach release date has only recently been announced too thus the whole "it has only been 2 weeks thing" is silly. GT5 has had countless release dates, don't act like it is some new game only just announced. Pre-orders have been accepted for the game for a longtime.

Secondly again with this whole "this is only US" argument, it is getting tiresome. Halo sells in every region, just not Japan. Halo 3 is the biggest selling exclusive this gen in others prooving that. If Reach sells well in US chances are it will sell well in others too.

Thirdly er yes Reach is tracking alongside MW2....Do you think i just said that because i like the sound of it? ilovegiggs has put up every week a comparison between MW2,Reach pre-orders for a longtime. At the 12th week MW2 was had reached 430k pre-orders. This week sees Reach get to that 12 week barrier and is at 390k pre-orders. A difference of 40k. So while at that rate MW2 will outsell Reach for pre-orders it will still see Reach have very high pre-orders, probably around 1.5m. However as pointed out by others in the other pre-orders thread MW2 pre-orders at this week were at a busy time for games. As Reach goes a long it will cross that period towards it's release. Meaning we will see huge jump in pre-orders around august.

Fourthly Reach is at a 4 to 1 ratio over GT5 because it's total is nearly 400k compared to GT5's 100k. When Reach was at the 17th mark as pointed out it was at 35k a week and had 240k pre-orders. For the same period GT5 is at 88k. A big difference.

And i am not the person who said GT5 is going to sell 12m and break all these records. If GT5 is to get anywhere near those numbers it needs to do well in all regions like it's previous games.
