I didn't mean to imply Kirby will break 2m... just that it'll sell more than DKCR in Japan.  I think Kirby will break a million, or come close to it though.  Not sure if DKCR will...


That would make it the worst selling DKC of all, even DKC3 did well more than a million in Japan. DKC is bigger in Japan than Kirby (the lowest DKC sold more than the best selling Kirby game in Japan, when Kirby had the install base advantage), and NSMBW showed how much the Japanese love 2D multiplayer platformers.

The later GB and GBA DKC games sold well below a million (most well below half a million even).  This wouldn't be the worst for the series, and honestly I just think Kirby will have more pull with the Japanese.
