gran turismo will sell better but nfs is a better series.

They belong to different branches of the racing genre, so it's hard to objectively compare them. NFS has always been an arcade racer with very few, if none, simulation parameters. GT on the other hand is all about simulation. Even it's Arcade mode is pure simulation.
That being said, the last NFS console game to get a similar rating as a GT console game was Hot Pursuit 2 back in the PS2. And that's comparing it to GT4, the lowest rated GT console game. (If you want to use portables too, NFS has a game with massively low ratings and the only GT portable game has average reviews).
So while to you NFS might be the better series (there's nothing wrong about this), to state as a fact that NFS is a better series is a bit off the mark and untrue.
Wow well iwas was stating that Nfs is a better series to me i never really got into Gt's stale racing i always found nfs much more innovative than granturismo. Though to say that me stating that NFS is a better series as fact as untrue is an opinion on your part as well.
Unless you show something that's actually factual, I don't see how it's an opinion of my part. if you pay attention to the first paragraph of my reply, I said that it is very difficult to do an objective comparison between the two series, since they belong to two very different branches of the racing genre. So the only way to do a remote comparison is by the quality of the releases of each series so far, which GT has garnered far more positive critical response than NFS had.
Even that isn't actually a fair comparison, because NFS had had at least double the amount of releases than GT has had (full releases).

there not compariable? there both racing games just because they dont have all of the same elements doesnt mean that they cant be compared. tekken is 3d and street fighter is 2d,2.5d and they're still are compariable. also if your copmparing the series by quality then can you really say that NFS loses as they anually releases games with next to no issues and always have a different theme for the series.
I never said they're from different genres, i'm saying that the approach to racing per se makes them very difficult to compare objectively.
Tekken and Street fighter are very comparable as both are fighters that are known for their technicality (both would lose to Virtua Fighter, which is the most technical demanding Fighting game).
A best example to the differences between NFS and GT would be comparing a WRPG to a JRPG or a SRPG. All of them belong to the RPG genre, but have enough differences between them to make them difficult to compare.
sorry but they are very easy to compare as its easy to compare a WRPG to a RPG. Also i never implyed that you said they were from different genres.
Arcade racers are easy to compare to Simulation racers? How are they even comparable when they cater to whole different audiences of the Racing genre spectrum?
because there is no spectrum. And they both have alot of core elements thatre the same.
