The art is quite good but as others have said you need to get better at just getting to the point and being done with it.

If you insist on having really long drawn out comics, look up subtlety.  With a comic as long as yours you might not want to pound people over the head with the point in the first panel.

Well, compared to my previous two, this comic is quite short. I will try to improve, but sometimes I can't help but just cram in a lot of thoughts. I sort of make these like short stories more than comics I guess.

Yeah, noticed this one was shorter compared to your Pachter one (must have missed the other one) and it's better for it, but it's still pretty long.  Someone mentioned this is almost like a political cartoon and that's a good point.  Those are just about always a single panel and if you're going that route, you should do the same.

You completely made your point in the first panel and then you just hammered it in our heads in the following two.  Having the image of the guy with lazy developer on his chart, Mario, and a brief dialogue would go a lot further than the entire comic.

As for the point of the comic, we all love to talk about how horrible shovelware and cash-ins are but they do actually have their place.  Take my sister for example, she has three young kids and three DS's in her house.  That means she needs to be able to have her kids entertained with all three of those DS's at all times (we could maker the argument she doesn't need three, but that's another story).

Anyways, she could buy three cashin/shovelware games at $10 a piece or a single quality game for $30.  No matter what the quality of the game, a 4-6 year old is going to enjoy it just the same.  It doesn't matter if it's Mario doing sublime platforming or Dora barely fumbling across the screen, they don't care.  They only care they're doing something, not-so-much about the quality.  Furthermore, the cash-in and the quality game will last the kids the same amount of time!

Case-in-point-- my five year old nephew has this one *terrible* game (can't remember the name, it's some terrible movie game) on his DS that he loves infinitely more than New Super Mario Bros.  New Super Mario Bros is better in every way yet he still likes that crappy cheap game better.

So if you're the parent, what do you choose?  Buy three cheap cash-in games for about $30 or three quality games for $90 keeping in mind the kids will enjoy either game just as much as the other?

I'm not saying people old enough to know if they're playing crap should buy those games, I'm just saying they very much have their place and are very much needed.

Man, talking about needing editing and being more concise...

I'm not really complaining about the fact that there is bad games, because I grew up with the NES which had lots of bad games. The point I was trying to make is that there is developers that only use the Wii to make quick funds, in order to make their more expensive HD games. Some of them have even admitted this, although I really can't be bothered to find the articles. What I can't stand the most is when they complain that their bad games or "test" games" don't sell millions of copies, and that they are not going to support the Wii.

The reason why most people stick to Nintendo games, is because developers have gave themselves such a negative reputation that most of the Wii audience has pretty much lost faith in them. The worst part is that this negative image also has an impact on the developers that do try to make good games. If they would put more effort in the console games like they do with the handheld ones, they may not be having as many problems as they are now.

As a matter of fact, my second comic is about developers being more supportive of Nintendo handhelds than Nintendo consoles. The developer that is in this comic is in that one as well. I guess you can sort of say that this comic is a continuation of the previous one, even though that wasn't what I originally had in mind. I guess I'm more of a story writer than a comic writer.
