I always tend to look at things not from my own perspective but what a majority concensus would argue. I believe that to be more important and weigh more in discussions than chiming in with my 2 cents all the time.
So the problem I have with these; 'exclusives beat gaming libraries' scenarios, is that the majority of the global console install base > 72.5 million don't also own a gaming PC, the game sales prove this. So if a majority don't have multiple gaming platforms for...hmm what would be the best nomenclature...'games denied PS3 release'? Then the point he's arguing is for a smaller sub-section of the community and is the least applicable scenario.
That makes these 'negated' console exclusives meaningful.
