Heya, I know this has been posted before but I didn't really understand what PD were saying. So I saw this at Gamespot and decided to share it. For idiots like myself that didn't understand it, here it is!

iGameReport emailed Polyphony to clarify the notion that GT5's standard cars will not have a modeled interior.

Polyphony's Response:

"Standard cars do indeed have a cockpit/dashboard view, just not nearly as detailed as the premium cars. The existing cars are not just being copied; they are all being generated properly to create authentic experiences from car to car."

That means Premium cars will just be more detailed with full-cosmetic damage on top of the physics damage which will be applied to every single car in the game.

All 1,000+ cars in the game will have physics-affecting damage (including rollover) with fully modeled interiors.

To clarify even further (physics related):

All 1,000+ cars will have physics-affecting damage. Premium cars will have added detail and deformation (cosmetic damage) on top of everything else. These additional features will not affect gameplay as they are all visual additions.
