Nintendo warns that game industry is boring consumers

Okay, "bored" is just not a word I would use to describe my recent personal feelings toward gaming.  I don't see a lack of good games to attract people.  Tons of good games have already released this year, tons more are coming.  If anything threatens the video game industry it would be the rampant greed I think.
