I played both, I loved both, and I wrote our hands-on articles for both! I'll most likely get both games, but for different reasons.

They both have 2 player co-op, they're both beautiful, and they're both full of secrets.
DKCR takes the old formula and tries to expand it and perfect it.
KYE takes the Kirby formula and throws it out the window. It's completely new.
But I can't write this much without choosing... if I could only afford one of them, I guess I'd have to go with DKCR because so far it looks faster and harder, and I'm a sucker for mine carts.
