For Mario Party 9 to exist then the franchise will need to have some significant changes. The Wii's instalment, Mario Party 8, was enjoyable but lacked in content as there was not a sufficient amount of boards. Perhaps the franchise should come to a close now and a new Mario spin-off will take Mario Party's place.
