If I made a mistake, I'm sorry, but thank's for the info because it still proves my point. I think I was meant to say first dual analog joystick, but I was typing so quickly that I missed it. 

That could be true for consoles actually.  Vectrex has the first analog stick on consoles iirc, but it was just one.  Dual stick setups had been largely the realm of arcades and PCs for the most part.

Yeah.  Nintendo tends not to "invent" so much as "innovate".  They often get miscredited with inventing technologies because they're actually the source for popularization and standardization of said technologies.  They are pretty progressive applicators though, and they don't implement technology unless it makes sense from a game perspective (which puts them apart from most console makers, who tend to have a technology first ethos).
