Having lots of players at the same time is key to that. A lot of the Wii's success is owed to it being a true family console in that everyone would play together and have fun. And I agree with that, but it can still do four player games with the Move and the PS Eye. I just don't think it's gonna be an issue in the end, because the majority of games that work well with four player local multiplayer can still work with the Move.
