WTF is with the worshipping of scores these days? I miss the NES days -- I didn't even read the scores. If a game sounded looked and sweet to you, you checked it out.

Yay! Smarts!

Umm, no, it's not smart at all to plop down $60 on a game you know nothing about. Some people take review scores too close to heart, but overall it has been good to us.

Back in the NES days games radiated awesome or fail.  You could touch the packaging and carry it around the store with you looking at it... and you knew just by doing that whether or not the game would be great.  Reviews weren't necessary... and still aren't.

People get too hung up on scores and forget about the simple fun gaming brings.  Remember, that's why people play games... to have fun.

Umm  yea, I'll take the opinion of someone who played the game over the packaging on the case.
