Will the EU version have it's own server?

Wow started playing this game again, the drawing point of it is CO-OP defeated the Flamelurker, hopefully in DS2 you can intregrate you character into that game but with optimized stats and actually party system.

Does anyone have the Asian version and wouldn't mind playing with me?

Soul Level 42 I think.

Yup, EU will have it's own separate server. It wouldn't be fair for EU newcomers to face against NA and Asian veterans.

That DS2 character integration would be awesome, but what I'm really hoping for DS2 is a tiered weapon/shield/armour system. Something in which you can create very unique and differentiated character builds.

I have the NA version sorry. Even if it was the Asian one, my SL is 253, so I wouldn't be able to help you either way

I was wondering am a Wanderer with 14 Vitality, 23 Dex, 15 Magic and 11 Faith (Forgot the rest of my stats) should I increase faith to around 15 (as I heard from a source that Mag and Faith should be atleast 15 if your not specialising in either) or just focus on Vit and Dex instead?

Also why can't I cast total protection it is somehow capped for me what are the requirements to use it?

Also should I upgrade the Dragon Long Sword to 5 ( 2 now), when it is 5 can you upgrade to a brand new weapon?

Hmmm,  you're a bit all over the place with the stats. What is your main focus on the game? Melee, Ranged or Magic approach?

With 23 Dex you're almost approaching the necessary cap (30) to appropriately use a Sticky Compound Long Bow 5 (which is the best attacking bow in the game, bar the Lava Bow for Fire weakness enemies).

INT and Faith at 16 (not Mag or 15) is a good cap. That way you'll have 2 slots for both Spells and Miracles. Magic doesn't affect the amount of Spell slots that you have, only the damage that spells cause (time that Total Protection will last).

Total Protection requires 2 Spell Slots to use, if you're INT is lower than 14, then you won't have the 2 slots.

For your Wanderer build, I recommend that at least try to get those 2 slots for either category and then focus on VIT (until 40-50) and DEX (until you hit the aforementioned 30), and then adapt to what you feel is more to your playing style.

What I would really recommend to you is getting 22 STR so you can equip the Purple Flame Shield. This shield is the 2nd best overall shield in the game (when fully upgraded to 10, it has only 2% lower Guard Reduction than the Tower Shield has 100% Damage Reduction and 90% Fire Resistance).
If you want a shield for Magic Protection, the only one you'll ever need is the Dark Silver Shield that Garl Vinland drops in World 5-3. Upgrading it to 5 using colorless demon souls will net you a 100% Damage and Magic Reduction, 70% Fire Resistance and 65% Guard Reduction shield.

As for your Dragon Long Sword, continue to upgrade it to 5. It's one of the best early game weapons to use (I was a thief using light weapons like the DLS, until I got the Dragon Bone Smasher, which to me it's the best weapon in the game). You won't be able to upgrade it further than 5 though, that's the limit for Prefix weapons (Dragon, Crushing, Moon, etc).
