| caz604 said: Absolutely not. I'm pretty self confident in who I am, and those who are, rarely lets mundane things like that bother them. Should I never go to Disneyland amusement parks? Should I never watch an animated movie if it doesn't have adult themes? Should the mainstream continue to have that same broad stereotype that video games are for geeks and nerds? Do I classify my friends who are metrosexual gay? Are comics for kids only? And this list goes on and on. Those who purvey those types of stereotypes tend to manifest a lack of self esteem and tolerance and usually try to put down those that they don't understand. It is a human condition, psychologically that has now become more prevalent in this day and age. Perhaps it is because of the global competitive landscape factored with an individuals status, stature or whatever one deems important. We spout words of wisdom that are easily hypocritical and arguments for or against are easy to make. Should you care what others think about you? If everyone jumped off a bridge should you follow? Are you a lemming or a pioneer? It's pretty simple. I believe there is no definitive answer to anything. So why let something like the inner child in you feel guilty of anything? |
metrosexual gay is all I got out of your post. That's a term I've never heard of. What in the world is that suppose to mean. lol
