To the guys who quoted me: Good posts and good points. I really can't argue them but did ya REALLY have to ruin my momentum? Lol. I agree that the big games for PS3 may not exactly push it as much as I'd like but c'mon...we need more people here supporting the PS3 because it's an awesome console. That was just my way of supporting the PS3 here in a positive attitude.
Yeah, I think ALL the consoles will enjoy a great 2008 but PS3 will start if off with a bang as MGS4 comes out in early March. So, I have high hopes for PS3 and truly do hope it can catch up.
Seriously, who cares which console wins. I just don't want to see PS3 fail and moreso, I want to see more people realizing that the PS3 isn't doing as bad as many would like to believe.
End of Year predictions:
Wii | 17.5 million ----> 19.20 million as of new year
X360 | 16 million ----> 16.02 million as of new year
PS3 | 8.7 million -----> 8.86 million as of new year
DAMNN I really underestimated the freaking Wii - Sheaaat!
Lifetime Sales
Wii | 60-80 million
X360 | 50-60 million
PS3 | 100+ million (I believe the PS3 will still be around when other NEW consoles arrive...there won't be a PS4 for quite some time.)
