I know you think they would have learnt from the last two generations that the most powerful console never finishes first. I mean the N64 was more powerful than the psone and the Gamecube (pity about the disks) and Xbox were both more powerful than the PS2.
But no they got tired of people rubbing it in, and they went off and spent billions making the best hardware only to be out shined by fancy controllers and the loss of 3RD party software and superior online.
Oh well maybe they will learn from their mistakes next gen eh.
