it's basic math :
there is now a 7.3 mil difference.
In order for ps3 to overtake 360 it means it has to sell :
7.3/12 = 610K per month
or
610/4.1 = 148k per week ww
or
around 50k per week and per territory.
Japan : ps3 needs to take off to acheive 50k on a constant basis, highly improbable
Europe : highly probable
America : it needs to catch up + overtake massively : not very probable if you take into account that this is only average, so counting weeks from next week.
So all in all : highly improbable.
