Did I mention Morgan Webb is married to the multi-millionaire Robert Reid who founded Listen.com, which was the source of inspiration for Real Network's Rhapsody, which he also helped create?

Yeah, you guys can hate her, but she has enough money between her husband and herself to piss you all off for a decade or more.

Money doesn't buy you brains, common sense, maturity, or the wealth of life experiences that are far more important... cause money... you can't take it with you when you die, but actions speak volumes, how you act now is how you're gonna be remembered and right now Morgan Webb is more likely to be remembered as she is now rather than the charming nerdy girl that started out as desk jockey at Tech TV/The Screen Savers.

But I digress, in reference to your other point, G4 was dying when they bought TechTV, from many sources G4 is hurting pretty badly and even made a lot of cuts last year,  honestly half the things being done I think are attempts to grab attention and ratings cause heres how it is, G4 is hurting, they know Wii/Nintendo are the popular things, bad things said by popular figureheads get attention, SMG2 is a highly rated game and will sell loads, lets have someone say something absurd about it, Nintendo steals the show at E3, lets have someone say something controversial, that'll spike the ratings for a bit.

G4 had power at one point but it's dropping fast man (for that matter the alexa ratings for both gamespot and IGN dropped last year), while on the other hand VGC is moving on up TV really isn't the way to go with video game news, many gamers are very tuned into websites and using various online sources, hell a news story leaks in Japan it hits the States with full English translations in mere moments.
