Think the positive side: you'll use the shield better than anybody else.

That's not funny. I'm really disappointed right now. Actually, I'm so sad because of this that I'm crying. I thought this would be an epic game, but, right now, seems more like the greatest failure in Zelda history, to me. I don't want it anymore.

I'm not sure I understand.

What keeps you from using the remote in your left hand for Skyward Sword?

It would be rather distorting, considering that what, to Link, would be an outward swing will now, to you, have to go across your chest. With higher precision it matters more, i think.

But it's the point only that it goes from left-to-right, and right-to-left?

I don't see the problem, mechanically.

@Maneco:

A mirrored Link wouldn't solve the problem. They'd also need to redo all of his animations and interactions with every object in the game from scratch.

But, still, this shows Nintendo doesn't take some of their fans in consideration. I just don't like this, it should be perfect for anyone, not just the majority.

Meh, it will still be great and you'll learn to deal with it like any other game.

It's easy for you to say that, but for me, at least, this is a lack of consideration for fans. Link is originally left-handed. If Aonuma thinks it won't affect gameplay, then why make him right-handed? I really didn't like it and I already stated months ago this would be the greatest shame Nintendo could do with this fucking game. I'm not buying it anymore.

Sorry man.

Most left-handed people learnt to be two-handed because everthing is made for right-handed people. So a switch shouldn't be that bad. You probably had to do that before.

Too bad this world is unfair...

But would it take too much memory to get an option to flip everything [horizontally] (not just Link, the entire world and animations), right from the start?
