I don't think sony needs a PS4 right now.. what they need is to evolve the platform's interface/online system and show off some really impressive software in addition to all that we know of..
MOVE is a huge move for them, and 3D is as well for playstation 3, so they need to show the mainstream that they are serious about it, and what hte ps3 can do with those two combined.
