This was my first 3D gaming experience. The only thing I really have to compare it with is movie style 3D, which could be why I was disappointed. That and the level of waiting I had to endure and my leg pain from standing/walking all day |
I see. Yeah I'd be curious how well this looks compared to top notch 3D on the PC.
The thing with 3D is that it has to be carefully matched up with proper games, engines and experiences.
Invincible Tiger for exmaple...the worst 3D implementation in the history of gaming. That game does not need 3D as the effects are not made for it.
Crysis 1 aslo was not a good 3D game as it had visuals and engine which did not give a great depth feeling (due to too many 2D textures)
Left 4 dead on the PC on the other hand...great engine for 3D, blood splater on screen... simply amazing.
What Im saying here is that Killzone 3 may be an amazing game, but it may not be the best experience for the 3D effect.
