I was at a very nerdy event (anime club gaming night or something) and there was girl with an elaborate gothic lolita outfit present. I asked her if I could borrow the whatchamacallit head piece, and she was happy to oblige. There was much horror and loss of life.
I also did other manly stuff like putting someone's Halo 3 Limited Edition Master Chief helmet on a Chiyo-chan's dad plushie, and waltz around with it.
