On the PC people are hopping, side-strafing like drunks all the time at high velocity. That's something I disliked about Unreal Tournament and other such games on the PC as well, having several people hopping like lunatics all the time trying to prevent to get hit. IMO somewhat degrades from the experience. I still loved Unreal Tournament in the good old days though, I created many UT player skins and even co-developed a great map. |
So, he perfers the PS3 version because the PS3 players online don't use the same strategy beceause they haven't played UT3 as long. It's the same difference. The only real difference is less accurate controls, less customizability and less expierence by the users. It's like "Age of Empire" players who would post "No Tower Matches" or "No Early Rush" in their games. Someone who really just can't handle a style of play.
