This really just sounds like someone trying to justify piracy to themselves. bad games and good games are more often then not made by the same companies, sure there are a few that only make total lemons but even the best game houses make lemons. reduced profits/returns on bad or good games (or increased losses in the case of bad) has the same effect, i.e. reduced funds for the company to invest into the next game giving an overall effect of reduced game investment.
