When PS3 slim was introduced. there was a price drop with it, which made the PS3 299$. That's why a lot was sold in the 1st month. Here the price is the same 299$ like the elite, with more capabilities. It will definitely increase sales, but not by much. And also, sales of PS3 were lowered after the 2nd months of the PS3 slim release. I bet the 360's sales will increase and stay the same (which is the new amount increased).
