As a Wii owner and fan, I'd actually suggest going with the PS2 versions... Max 2 seems to be a big hit. You can get better dance mats for the PS2 ones (and even use the controller if you like), depending on how much you want to pay. The foam ones aren't that good. If you don't have a PS2 though... |
I used to borrow my friends PS2 solely for DDR. Having said that, I've played and beat most of the mixes (and my favourites so far are Max and Max 2 ;))
I don't like using the pad, and I'm certainly not interested in the motion control aspect. I just want a typical D-Pad+Face button experience.
I hope the sound track isn't completely Americanized too. I could not STAND the Xbox 360 DDR for more than one hour. The announcer girl sucked, not to mention most of the songs weren't that great. If I wanted to listen to American music I'd turn on the radio >_>
Heh... I guess I use DDR both for fun AND to listen to Japanese music in front of my friends without being made fun of XD
By life end:
- Wii- 100 million+
- Xbox360- 35~40 million
- PS3- 30 million
- PSP- 30~32 million ------------- FAILURE
- NDS- 85~90 million (Skeptical) - FAILURE
- NDS- 100 million+ (Optimistic) -- Success!
